HaYesod [The Foundation] class sessions begin on Saturday, Jan 6, 2018, 8-9:30 a.m., and will run roughly 20 weeks; sessions are led by Jim Templer. What are the foundations of our Messianic Jewish faith? What does it mean that our faith in Yeshua has Jewish Roots? Is our faith the same as historic Christianity except we worship on Saturdays and sing songs in Hebrew? What is our relationship to the Land of Israel, the people of Israel and the Scriptures of Israel? What is the Torah and what did Yeshua and the Apostle Sha’ul (Paul) teach about being a disciple of Yeshua? These and other questions about our spiritual foundation are explored in 10 lessons (1/2 lesson per week) utilizing the HaYesod course developed by “First Fruits of Zion” (FFOZ) a Messianic Jewish educational ministry. This study uses both a work book and DVD videos to explore the foundations of our faith with teachings produced at the FFOZ headquarters in the US and also from the Land of Israel.$30 individual; $50 couple. A commitment to the full course is requested. Whether you’re new to Or HaOlam, or are a long-timer, you are encouraged to attend and study the foundation of the faith. See hayesod.ffoz.org.

George and Rivka Whitten will be with us for Shabbat of Jan 13. George will deliver the message in the morning; and teach an Adult Ed session at 1:30 p.m. Rivka will present a concert at 7:30 p.m.
