Marriage was intended, by its Designer, to be a joyful unity of spirit, soul, and body for life! We want to ensure that this is the case with ALL the marriages at Or HaOlam. One tool that we are offering is an eight-session small group study called Marriage on the Rock, with video teacher Jimmy Evans (https://store.marriagetoday.com/collections/frontpage/products/marriage-on-the-rock-small-group-curriculum-kit). The cost will be minimal. If you are interested please sign up by emailing  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . For availability, we are considering the options of the evenings of Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, or any time Sunday. Please indicate if you need childcare.

Why Israel Matters – There are many in Washington who are doing their best to quietly move America away from its traditional role as a defender and ally of Israel. With anti-Semitism at its highest level since World War II, Mathew Staver (Liberty Counsel and Christians in Defense of Israel) is committed to showing Israel’s amazing positive impact to the world via this 13-part documentary series. Currently being shown on TBN, channel 16.1 out of St Joseph, at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings, and online at www.tbn.org/programs/why-israel-matters/episodes. Mr. Staver himself appears in the final episode.

Stewart Winograd will be guest Shabbat speaker on Aug 12. Stewart ministers with Reach Initiative, which plants and strengthens Messianic Jewish Congregations; raises up Generation Next, future generations of Messianic leaders; serves the poor, needy and oppressed; and operates SunRise, a facility in the foothills of the Himalayas that serves as a hospitality center for post-army Israeli young adults who are wandering the face of the earth looking for spiritual solace after the stress of military service, and is where Rivka Hare ministers. Stewart also has an amazing and fruitful ministry to Holocaust survivors in Belarus. Stewart is on the Board of Directors for Or HaOlam.

2.    If you are interested in going, please sign up on the sheet in the lobby or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

3.    We can also have a community picnic and fun day. Indicate on the signup sheet or email if you are interested in volleyball, softball, frisbee, and diy food & bbq (enough to share).

4.    There is a lakefront for us to do an immersion service. If you would like to be immersed, please indicate on signup sheet or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

Camp-Tzadi – First Fruits of Zion Summer Camp for Messianic Teens, Aug 10-20, Wisconsin Dells, WI. The Torah instructs us to pass the torch to the next generation by teaching “these things diligently to your children,” but outside of the context of strong community and positive peer support, our youth remain vulnerable to isolation, disenfranchisement, and ultimately, disengagement. Camp Tzadi will support the Messianic values of our homes and further instill these ideals into our children and young adults. This camp provides an environment for teens to make new friends and explore their faith together with curriculum led by teachers from First Fruits of Zion. In addition to ther daily curriculum, Camp Tzadi will have a heavy emphasis on community-building, life-long friendship, and fun as campers explore God's word together.

Come for an amazing, spiritually transforming summer. Camp Tzadi will be held at a host camp in the Wisconsin Dells and offers kosher food, lake fun, horseback riding, high ropes, aerial adventure park, arts center, sports, hiking, Israel programs, and many more fun and exciting activities! 1221.ffoz.org/camp-tzadi. Price: $1,000 (A $100 deposit secures your place; full tuition due by July 15).
