TeeRosh תרש

Teerosh is a Hebrew acronym for prayer, dance and song. Teerosh is both in person and via Zoom every Tuesday from 7:30-8:30.

Celebrate Recovery

You are invited to attend! Celebrate Recovery meets at the shul on Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm. This is a Bible-based healing ministry. It is not just for people recovering from drug or alcohol addiction, but is also a place to heal from anything such as grief, anger and food addictions.

Interested in T’vilah/immersion (baptism)?

There will be a class for immersion candidates. These dates will be announced. Believers in Messiah are commanded to publicly acknowledge their faith with this ceremony, which we do at a lakefront home on Gardner Lake, followed usually by a swim party. If your faith is new, or significantly renewed with understanding of Torah and the covenants, please consider participating.

Shakharit-Tefillin (Morning Prayer)

Thursday, August 13: For this month we are bringing back Shakharit-Tefillin (Morning Prayer). It will be at 8 am at the shul. Shakharit is a blessed expression of prayer from the Siddur, the Jewish prayer book. This service is for both men and women interested in learning-by-doing a more traditional, albeit Messianic, Shakharit-Tefillin service. We use Danny Ben Gigi’s First Steps in Hebrew Prayer Siddur as our format. Men, bring tefillin if you have them.

Messiah Conference 2026

This was an amazing and refreshing time for all of us who were able to go. We will have copies of the videos and audio recordings available soon for those of you who could not make the trip.

Help With the JCC Maccabi Games

From August 2–7, 2026, Kansas City will host the JCC Maccabi Games, an Olympic-style competition that will bring together nearly 1,000 Jewish teens, ages 13–17, from around the world. These athletes will not only compete in sports, but also celebrate Jewish values, identity, leadership, service, and culture.
